• Traditional Catalan food and excellent wine cellar: The restaurant Els Tinars, located on the road to Llagostera, just a quarter of an hour’s drive from the urbanization Mas Nou Playa de Aro. This restaurant is located in an old restored farmhouse, using the fresh and autochthonous product with Mediterranean recipes that combine the traditional Catalan cuisine with the creativity of avant-garde dishes. The Chicken Canelones with Jabugo béchamel, mushrooms and crispy skin or its traditional Caracoles a la llauna (snails to the tin) are two good examples of its menu. Its varied gastronomic offer is completed with a good selection of wines and an attentive service. Its Michelin star endorses it as one of the best restaurants on the Costa Brava out of season.

• Quality homemade Mediterranean food: The Restaurant Llevant is a classic of the area, located in Playa de Aro. It is a cozy restaurant that works all-year-round, with varied food and also with a possibility to take away, it meets the expectations of both the occasional visitor and Residencial Mas Nou customers who live near the area and seek quality without sophistication. From Mediterranean cuisine, it has a wide dishes range from pizzas to meats, made with quality product, offering a wide variety of dishes and group menu.

• Local seafood and rice dishes: Before becoming an international tourist destination, Playa de Aro was a fishing village, like most of the towns on the Costa Brava coast. In Romanyà, a little more than ten minutes by road from the urbanization Mas Nou Playa de Aro, there is the Restaurant Can Roquet. Food of fusion, creativity and with international influences. The restaurant of this restored country house in Costa Brava from the 17th century has a Michelin star for the quality of the dishes of the chef and co-owner Donald de Ridder.
